The JobMonitor App serves as a useful companion for users of SilverFast 8, an acclaimed scanning and digital imaging software designed for professionals. This app allows users to effectively monitor scanning and image processing tasks conducted within SilverFast 8 directly from their iOS devices.

SilverFast 8 offers an intuitive interface along with robust features for digitizing and archiving a wide range of media, including photographs, slides, and negative film. Its performance makes it a preferred choice for both amateurs and professionals alike seeking to preserve their visual heritage.

The JobMonitor App enhances the user experience by providing real-time updates on scanning or image optimization processes. Users can easily view the progress of their jobs on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod via a Wi-Fi connection. Each item in the job queue is displayed with a preview image and a progress bar, enabling seamless tracking of multiple scans. In scenarios where Wi-Fi connectivity is not available, users will receive Push Notifications to alert them when their scanner has completed its tasks.

To utilize the JobMonitor App effectively, several requirements must be met:

 <li>SilverFast Ai Studio or HDR Studio (version 8.8.0r11 or later) must be installed on the computer.</li>
 <li>JobMonitor functionality needs to be activated from the Service Dialog within SilverFast's Welcome Screen.</li>
 <li>A stable Wi-Fi connection must exist between the computer system and the iOS device.</li>
 <li>A supported scanner is required for monitoring scan jobs.</li>
</ul>
